Islam ne apne followers par kayi ibadat k farz kiye hain jo ke aqwal, aamaal aur aqeedaat par mabni hain. Ye aqwal aur aamaal Islam ke Rukn hain, aur yeh wo cheezen hain jinke zariye ek shakhs ko Musalman ya non-Muslim ki taareef ki jaati hai. Islam apne followers ko sirf in ibadat ko ada karne ki dawat nahi deta; in ibadat ka maqsad insaan ki rooh ko paak karna aur usay durust rakhna hai. In ibadat ko ada karne ka maqsad yeh hai ke shakhs apni zindagi ko durust kare aur Seedha Raasta apnaaye.
Allah ne namaz (Salah) ke baare mei kaha: ... aur namaz qa’im karo. Bilkul namaz buraiyon aur nafrat ko rokti hai, aur Allah ka yaad karna sab se zyada ahm hai. Aur jo tum kar rahe ho, Allah usay jaanne wala hai. [29:45]
Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, genuine prayer should deter one from indecency and wickedness. The remembrance of Allah is an even greater deterrent. And Allah fully knows what you all do.
Allah ne Zakat (Khudai maal se faqaar ki zaruratmandon ki madad) ke baare mei kaha: Unke maal se khudai maal lo, taake unhein paak kar sako aur unhein barhawa de sako, aur unke liye dua karo beshak tumhari dua unke liye tasalli ka sabab hai. Aur Allah sunne wala, jaanne wala hai.
Take from their wealth O Prophet charity to purify and bless them, and pray for them surely your prayer is a source of comfort for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 9:103
Allah ne roza (Fasting) ke baare mei kaha: Tum logon par roza farz kiya gaya hai, jaise ke pehle logon par farz kiya gaya tha, taake tum taqwa (parheizgari) ikhtiyar kar sako. [2:183]
O believers! Fasting is prescribed for you—as it was for those before you1—so perhaps you will become mindful of Allah.
Allah ne Hajj ke baare mei kaha: Hajj ka irada muqarrar mahino mei hota hai. Jo shakhs Hajj karne ka irada kare, to usay Hajj ke dauran jismani taluqaat, badzubanai, aur jhagray se bachna chahiye. Jo bhi accha kaam tum karte ho, Allah usay puri tarah se jaanta hai. Safar ke liye zaroori saman le lo—beshak sab se behtareen saman taqwa (parhezgari) hai. Aur mere se daro, yaa ilm rakhne walon!
Commitment to pilgrimage is made in appointed months. Whoever commits to ˹performing˺ pilgrimage, let them stay away from intimate relations, foul language, and arguments during pilgrimage. Whatever good you do, Allah ˹fully˺ knows of it. Take necessary provisions for the journey surely the best provision is righteousness. And be mindful of Me, O people of reason! 2:197
Islam mei ibadat ek ahem kirdar ada karta hai, jo shakhsiyat ki taraqqi aur uski safai mei madad deta hai, aur Musalman one ummat ki ittihad aur ta’luqaat ki hifazat karta hai.
DO GAWAHIYAN
Yeh do gawahiyaan hain jo insaan ko Islam ki ummat mei daakhil karne ka zariya hain. Pehli gawahi yeh hai ke Allah ke siwa kisi ki ibadat nahi ho sakti, aur doosri gawahi yeh hai ke "Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke rasool hain." Yeh do gawahiyaan Islam mei imaan ka bunyadi rukn hain.
Pehli Gawahi: Allah ke siwa kisi ki ibadat nahi ho sakti
Iska matlab yeh hai:
Allah hi duniya ka paida karne wala hai, aur usi ne sab kuch banaya hai.
Allah ke siwa kisi aur ka haq nahi ke wo is kainaat ka malik ho ya uske mamlaat ko chalaye.
Allah hi sab kuch ka paida karne wala hai, is liye uski ibadat karna hi haqq hai.
Doosri Gawahi: "Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke rasool hain"
Iska matlab hai:
Hum yeh yakeen karte hain ke Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke rasool aur unke paak banday hain, jinhon ne Allah se wahy (revelation) hasil ki aur usko insaaniyat tak pohanchaya.
Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) ko yeh hukm diya gaya tha ke wo Allah ka paighaam logon tak pohnchayein.
Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) Allah ke aakhri rasool hain, aur unke baad koi aur nabi ya rasool nahi aayega.
Is Gawahi ka Matlab:
Hum per yeh farz hai ke Muhammad (SAW) ke har hukm par amal karein.
Unhone jo kuch kaha us par imaan lana zaroori hai.
Jo unhone mana kiya, us se bachna humari zimmedari hai.
In dono gawahiyon par imaan lana aur in par amal karna Islam mein daakhil hone ka asli tareeqa hai.
Namaz eik aisi ibadat hai jiske zariye ek Musalman apny Allah ke saath apna ta'alluq barqarar rakhta hai. Jab insaan duniya k mazay mei dooba hota hai aur uska imaan kamzor ho jata hai, to wo azan ki awaaz sunta hai aur namaz mei shamil ho kar apne imaan ko mazboot karta hai. Is tarah, wo apne Khaliq ke saath apni ta'alluq ko musalsal barqarar rakhta hai.
Din raat mei 5 paanch namazain hain jo farz hain. Mardon ko masjid mei jama'at ke sath namaz padhni chahiye, siwaaye un logon ke jo kisi jaayiz wajah se namaz ke liye nahi aa sakte. Is se Musalman ek dosray ko achhe tareeqe se jaan lete hain aur unke darmiyan mohabbat aur ittehad ke rishtay mazboot hote hain. Wo apni apni halat se aagah ho jate hain. Agar koi namaz ke liye nahi aata aur lagta hai ke wo beemar hai, to uska haal chaal pucha jata hai, aur agar lagta hai ke wo apni ibadaton mei kami kar raha hai to usay naseehat ki jati hai.
Duniyawi aur samaji faraq, jaise ke zar-o-zaat, nasl, aur status, sab nazarandaz kar diye jate hain, kyun ke sab Musalman ek saath ek hi raste pe, Mecca ki taraf mooh kar ke, ek hi waqt mei namaz padhte hain. Is mei sab Allah ke saamne ek jaise hai, aur sab ka maqam Allah ke samne barabar hota hai.
Zakah ek muqarrar fiyaas hai jo ameer Musalman gareeb aur mohtaajon ko unki faqaar se bachane ke liye detay hai. Har Musalman par jo Nisaab (wo minimum mal-o-daulat jiske upar Zakah farz hoti hai) rakhta ho, Zakah dena farz hai. Allah ne farmaya:
(Aur unse ye nahi kaha gaya siwaaye iske ke Allah ki ibadat karein, apne deen mein uske liye ikhlaas ikhtiyar karein, sachai ki taraf rujhaan rakhein, aur namaz qaim karein aur Zakah dein. Aur ye hai sahi deen.) [98:5]
even though they were only commanded to worship Allah ˹alone˺ with sincere devotion to Him in all uprightness, establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. That is the upright Way.
Iske kuch sharaait hain:
Minimum mal-o-daulat ka hona: Kisi shakhs ke paas wo maal hona chahiye jo Islam ke mutabiq Zakah dene ki hadd tak pohonch chuka ho.
Ek saal ka guzarna: Agar maal ek saal tak kisi shakhs ke paas nahi rehta, to us par Zakah farz nahi hoti.
Allah ne Zakah lene walon ki bhi tareef ki hai. Allah ne kaha:
khudai kharch sirf gareebon aur mohtaajon ke liye hai, un logon ke liye jo isay ikatha karte hain, un logon ke liye jinke dil (iman ki taraf) rujhan ho, ghulamoon ko azaad karne ke liye, qarz mein doobay hue logon ke liye, Allah ke raste mein, aur musafiron ke liye jo mohtaaj hain. Ye Allah ka farz hai. Aur Allah sab kuch jaane wala aur hikmat wala hai (9:60).
Alms-tax is only for the poor and the needy, for those employed to administer it, for those whose hearts are attracted ˹to the faith˺, for ˹freeing˺ slaves, for those in debt, for Allah’s cause, and for ˹needy˺ travellers. ˹This is˺ an obligation from Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Zakah jo deni hoti hai, wo jo maal ek saal tak paas rakha gaya ho uska 2.5% hoti hai. Iske zariye Islam ka maqsad Muslim muashre mei faqaar ko khatam karna hai, aur wo khatarat jo faqaar se paida hoti hain, jaise chori, qatal, aur doosron ke izzat ke khilaaf wo a'maal, unhe kam karna hai.
Zakah Muslim muashre mei ek dosray ke liye ek doosre par madad ki zarurat ka jazba barhati hai. Is se gareebon aur zaruratmandon ke haqooq ko poora karna aur unki zarooraton ko poora karna madad milti hai. Ye ameer Musalmanon ke nafs ko safai deta hai, aur unko lalach, khudgarzi, aur duniya ki mohabbat se saaf karta hai jo unhein apne gareeb bhaiyon ki madad karne se rokta hai.
Zakah gareebon ko nafrat aur hasad se bhi paak karti hai jo wo ameeron ke liye mehsoos karte hain. Wo dekhte hain ke ameer apne maal se Zakah de rahe hain jese ke Allah ne hukm diya hai, aur unka khayal rakh rahe hain, unhein madat de rahe hain aur unse achay tareeqe se pesh aa rahe hain.
RAMADAN KA ROZA (SAWM)
Ek Musalman ko saal mei ek mahina roza rakhna zaroori hai, jo Ramadan ka mahina hota hai. Subah ke Fajr se le kar, shaam ke Maghrib tak, Musalman ko un cheezon se bachna hota hai jo roza todti hain; khaas taur par: khana, peena, ya jinsai taluq.
Roza Islam ki ek ibadat nahi hai jo sirf Islam mei hai, balkay yeh pehle bhi dusri religion mei farz kiya gaya tha. Allah ne kaha:
(O tum jo iman laye ho, tum par roza farz kiya gaya hai jese ke tumse pehle logon par farz kiya gaya tha, taake tum taqwa ikhtiyar karo.) [2:183]

Roza rakhne ka maqsad sirf un material aur physical cheezon se bachna nahi hai jo roza todti hain. Iska asal maqsad yeh hai ke insaan un cheezon se bhi bachay jo unke roza ka ajar khatam kar deti hain, jaise ke jhoot bolna, ghibat karna, chugli karna, dhoka dena, jhoot baat karna aur doosray buray kaam. Musalman ko yeh yaad rakhna chahiye ke yeh buray kaam Ramadan ke bahar bhi har waqt nahi karne chahiye, lekin is mahine mei in cheezon se zyada bachna zaroori hai. Is bare mei Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne kaha:
"Jo shakhs jhoot bolna, buray kaam karna, aur doosron ko bura kehna nahi chhorhega, Allah us k khana peene se roza rakhne ki koi parwah nahi karta. [Bukhari]
Roza ek jang hai insaan ke apne nafs aur uski khwahishat se. Iska kaafi saara samaji faida bhi hai, jo Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ne apni hadith mei bayan kiya:
"Adam ke bachon ke tamam aamaal uske liye hain, siwaaye roza ke, kyunke yeh meri liye hai aur main is ka ajar khaas tor par dunga. Roza ek shield hai; jab tum mein se koi roza rakhta hai, toh use buray lafz nahi kehne chahiye, na usay chillana chahiye, aur agar koi usay galiyaan de ya usse jhagda kare, toh usay kehna chahiye, 'Main roza rakhnay wala hoon.' Us zaat ki kasam, jiske haath mein Muhammad ki rooh hai, roza rakhne walay ki mooh se jo khushboo nikalti hai, wo Allah ke paas misk ke khushboo se bhi zyada pure aur pasandeeda hoti hai. Roza rakhne walay ko do dafa khushi hoti hai: ek, jab wo apna roza khata hai aur doosri dafa, jab wo apne Rabb se milta hai." [Bukhari]
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk.
Roza rakhkar insaan ko apne gareeb bhaiyon ka ehsaas hota hai, jo kafi khana, kapra aur duniya ki wo saholat nahi paa sakte, aur yeh unhy, unke haqoq pura karne aur unki halat ka pata karne par unhy tayar karta hai.
Hajj ek aisi ibadat hai jo ek Musalman Baitullah (Ka’bah) ka safar karke mukhtalif mukarrar jagahon par aur mukarrar waqt par mukarrar aamaal anjaam dekar ada karta hai. Islam ka yeh rukn har Musalman, mard ya aurat, par uske zindagi mei sirf ek martaba farz hai - agar wo aqil-baaligh ho aur us mei maali aur jismani salahiyat ho.
Agar kisi shakhs ko aisi bimari ho jo kabhi theek na ho sake aur wo Hajj ki adaigi se roke, lekin uske paas paisa mojood ho, toh usay chahiye ke kisi ko apni taraf se Hajj karne ke liye bheje. Lekin agar kisi shakhs ke paas apni zaroorat ki cheezon ke ilawa itna paisa nahi hai ke wo Hajj kar sake, toh us par Hajj farz nahi hai. Allah ne farmaya:
Is mein roshan nishaniyan hain aur Maqam-e-Ibrahim hai. Jo bhi is mein daakhil ho, use aman milna chahiye. Is Ghar (Ka’bah) ka Hajj logon par Allah ka ek farz hai, jo bhi iski istita’at rakhta ho. Aur jo iska inkaar kare, to beshak Allah tamaam jahan walon se be-niyaaz hai. Quran 3:97
Hajj duniya ka sabse bara Islami ijtima hai, aur mumkin hai ke yeh insani tareekh ka bhi sabse bada ijtima ho. Duniya bhar ke Musalman ek jagah aur ek waqt par ikatthe hote hain; sab ek hi Allah ko pukarte hain, ek hi tarah ke kapray pehente hain, ek hi tareeke se ibadat karte hain, aur ek hi naara buland karte hain:
Labayka Allahumma labaik; Labayka laa shareeka laka, labayk; innal-hamda wan-ni’mata laka wal-mulk; laa shareeka lak.
Main haazir hoon, Aye Allah, main haazir hoon. Main haazir hoon, tera koi shareek nahi, main haazir hoon. Beshaq, sab tareefain, sab ni’matein aur sara mulk sirf tera hai. Tera koi shareek nahi.
Hajj ek aisa waqia hai jo Musalmanon ke darmiyan bhai-chara aur ekta ko mazid mazboot karta hai. Yahaan koi farq nahi rakha jata ke kaun ameer hai aur kaun gareeb, kaun izzatdaar hai aur kaun aam shakhs, kaun gora hai aur kaun kala, kaun Arab hai aur kaun ghair-Arab. Sab Allah ke saamne barabar hain, aur unmei sirf taqwa (parhaizgari) ki buniyad par fark hai. Hajj ek aisi ibadat hai jo sab Musalmanon ki ekta, umeedon aur jazbaat ko ek jaga le aati hai
